Welcome to the 2023-24 school year at the Monroe County Advanced Learning Center (ALC), where we are growing the next generation of achievers, leaders, and communicators to make a difference. It is a great honor for me to serve as the ALC's principal. Education is my passion, and I am blessed to work among other educators in our district who strive to make Monroe County students THE BEST!

I currently live in Amory, Ms with my husband and 3 children. I completed undergraduate studies at Delta State University where I received a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I received my master's from the University of Mississippi in Educational  Leadership. I taught for 18 years in various schools across Mississippi, and for the last 5 years, I have been the Elementary  Principal for Hamilton Attendance Center. I am so excited for the opportunity to work with the high school students in Monroe County.  

At the Monroe County ALC, we challenge our students to cultivate qualities of character, excellence, creativity, and service so that they can become well-rounded citizens who make positive contributions to society. It takes the entire village, and I welcome the opportunity to do just that. Here's to an exciting and rewarding school year for our students, faculty, and staff!
